Our Story is
Nolan's Story
Kindred Living began with a father's concern. Gilman Bishop, a real estate developer, searched for housing for his son Nolan, who has Autism and behavioral needs. Finding few good options, he founded Kindred Living in 2022 to create homes that offer lifelong support for adults with developmental disabilities. Kindred Living is making this vision a reality.
We're creating inclusive communities
Kindred Living tackles the shortage of supportive housing for adults with developmental disabilities. Our homes will offer on-site behavioral support, sensory-friendly spaces, and community activities—creating safe, empowering environments for greater independence.
"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others."
